The Est! Est!!! Est!!! Di Montefiascone Campolongo from the pen of Stefanoni of Lazio reveals a bright, pale yellow color in the wine glass. The nose of this white wine from Lazio captivates with aromas of green apple, ripe apple, mirabelle plum and lemon. If we trace the aromatics further, mint/melissa are added.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Lazio finally thrilled with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the volcanic rock dominated soils.
Vinification of the Est! Est!!! Est!!! Di Montefiascone Campolongo by Stefanoni
The balanced Est! Est!!! Est!!! Di Montefiascone Campolongo from Italy is a cuvée vinified from Rossetto, Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano grape varieties. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Lazio. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately sent to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
