Vinification of the Vinosia Est. 2004 Primitivo Merlot Salento
This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Primitivo grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Once the wine is finished, the Est. 2004 Primitivo Merlot Salento is carefully harmonized.

This Italian wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to duck breast with sugar snap peas, lemon-chilli chicken with bulgur or boeuf bourguignon.
