More information
The elegant Etna Rosso Nardalici from the pen of Terre Di Giurfo splashes into the glass with bright ruby red. The first nose of Etna Rosso Nardalici reveals nuances of raspberries. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Terre Di Giurfo Etna Rosso Nardalici presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this dense, velvety and fleshy red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from Sicilia DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the volcanic rock dominated soils.
Vinification of Etna Rosso Nardalici from Terre Di Giurfo
This balanced red wine from Italy is vinified from the grape varieties Nerello Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of volcanic rock. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, Etna Rosso Nardalici can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.
Supper recommendation for Terre Di Giurfo Etna Rosso Nardalici
This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to stuffed peppers, lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, or boeuf bourguignon.
