Vinification of Cantine Lombardo Marsala Fine IP Semi-Secco Marsala
The basis for the powerful Fine IP Semi-Secco Marsala from Sicily are grapes from the Ansonica, Catarratto and Grillo grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once it has finished, the Fine IP Semi-Secco Marsala can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 12 months.
