A story of Fleur de d'Artagnan wines cannot be told without outlining the success of Plaimont. At the end of the 1970s, committed winegrowers from the communes of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint Mont joined forces to put the Côtes de Gascogne on the world wine list. This explains the name, as Pl stands for Plaisance, Ai for Aignan and Mont for Saint Mont.
