The Fleur de d'Artagnan Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from the wine-growing region Gascogne offers itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering strawberry-pink. On the palate, the Fleur de d'Artagnan Rosé Côtes de Gascogne from Plaimont opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-bodied rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light and crisp texture. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Gascony, more precisely from Côtes de Gascogne, finally thrills with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and sand.
Vinification of the Plaimont Fleur de d'Artagnan Rosé Côtes de Gascogne
The starting point for Plaimont's premium and wonderfully elegant Fleur de d'Artagnan Rosé Côtes de Gascogne cuvée is Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. In Gascony, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand and limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Fleur de d'Artagnan Rosé Côtes de Gascogne can further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
