This balanced red wine from Italy is vinified from the Frappato grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Frappato Belsito are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of punishing and less selective machines. After the harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
