Aroma does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety, fleshy and dense. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of Fratagranda from Pravis
The balanced Fratagranda from Italy is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, Fratagranda can continue to harmonize for 72 months on the fine lees.
Serving Suggestion for Pravis Fratagranda
This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, goose breast with gingered red cabbage and marjoram, or stuffed peppers.
