More information about Frühburgunder Löss-Lehm - Stefan Meyer
This single varietal German wine flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of blackberries, blueberries, black currants and mulberries. It is joined by hints of green peppers, lovage and Mediterranean herbs.
The Stefan Meyer Pinot noir precoce loess-loam presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Pinot noir precoce loess-loam is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loam and loess soil.
Vinification of the Pinot noir precoce loess-loam of Stefan Meyer
This balanced red wine from Germany is made from the grape variety Pinot noir precoce. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils dominated by loam and loess soil. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Stefan Meyer Pinot noir precoce Loess-Loam
Enjoy this red wine from Germany best tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to Boeuf Bourguignon, vegetable stew with pesto or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
