More information
The light-bodied Fruits de Mer from Les Grands Chais de France flows into the glass with a brilliant light yellow color. This French cuvée reveals wonderfully youthful notes of kumquats, oranges, pink grapefruit and lemongrass in the glass. This is joined by hints of Mediterranean herbs, green peppers and juniper.
On the palate, Les Grands Chais de France's Fruits de Mer starts out delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-bodied white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux, more precisely from Entre-deux-Mers, finally captivates with good reverberation.
Vinification of the Fruits de Mer from Les Grands Chais de France
The elegant Fruits de Mer from France is a cuvée made from the grape varieties Muscadelle, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Fruits de Mer are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
