In the glass, Vallarom's Fuflus reveals a bright purple color. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World presents wonderfully complex aromas of plum and blackberry, rounded off by other fruity nuances contributed by aging in wooden barrels.

On the palate, Vallarom's Fuflus opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense, velvety and fleshy texture. Finally, the finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of Vallarom's Fuflus

The basis for the balanced Fuflus from Italy are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the manual harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the elegant Fuflus is aged for another 18 months in oak barriques.
