The elegant Gänsehaut Pur Weingut Manz flows into the glass with a bright purple color. In the glass, this red wine from Weingut Manz offers aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, mulberries and blueberries, complemented by cinnamon, dark chocolate and vanilla. This red from Weingut Manz is a good choice for all wine connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Gänsehaut Pur reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of mulberry and blueberry show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the clay and marl dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Manz Winery Gänsehaut Pur
This balanced red wine from Germany is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and marl. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the winery Manz Gänsehaut Pur
This German red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce, boeuf bourguignon or braised chicken in red wine.
