More information about Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian AOP - Fortant de France

The barrel-aged Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc shows in the glass in dense purple red. With a little time in the glass, this red wine from France offers wonderfully expressive aromas of mulberry, blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry, rounded off by other fruity nuances contributed by the barrel aging.

The Fortant de France Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian reveals itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of mulberry and blueberry show.

Vinification of the Fortant de France Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian from Fortant de France are Grenache and Syrah grapes. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. At its end, Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian can continue to harmonize for several months on the fine lees. Once the wine is finished, the Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian is carefully harmonized.

Food recommendation for the Fortant de France Gaia de Fortant Rouge Bio Saint Chinian

This French red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It perfectly accompanies lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
