With the Viñas del Vero Garnacha Syrah comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, crimson color. If you tilt the glass a bit, a transition of the color towards garnet red can be seen at the edges. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of mulberry, black currant, blackberry and plum, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
On the palate, the Garnacha Syrah of Viñas del Vero starts pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this mature red wine from the wine-growing region of Aragon, more precisely from Somontano DO, finally thrills with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by clay and loam.
Vinification of the Viñas del Vero Garnacha Syrah
The basis for the balanced Garnacha Syrah from Aragon are grapes from the Garnacha and Syrah varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Aragon. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and loam. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Garnacha Syrah can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
