With the Weingut Polz Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. In this it shows a wonderfully brilliant, golden yellow color. This single varietal Austrian wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of peaches, apricots, vineyard peaches and nectarines in the glass. This is joined by hints of gingerbread spice, cinnamon and oriental spices.
The Weingut Polz Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine presents itself wonderfully light. Finally, the finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Styria, more precisely from southern Styria, convinces with good reverberation.
Vinification of the Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC from Polz Winery
The elegant Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC from Austria is a single-varietal wine, made from the grape variety Gelber Muskateller. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. After the wine is finished, the Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC is carefully harmonized.
Food recommendation for the Gelber Muskateller Südsteiermark DAC from Weingut Polz
This white wine from Austria is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to Japanese-style fillet of turbot with vegetable julienne, spicy chestnut soup or onion tart with thyme.
