Vinification of the Geldermann Grand Brut 3 l Jeroboam from Geldermann
This elegant sparkling wine from Germany is made from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Geldermann Grand Brut 3 l Jeroboam is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this German wine exudes an exceptional European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The development of the grapes for this wine, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, is influenced to an undeniable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Baden, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and even grapes and a rather moderate must weight. Following the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the assemblage of the cuvée follows the further aging on the basis of bottle storage, classical bottle fermentation. This is followed by bottle aging for 24 months.
