Winery Gérard Bertrand - simple and ecological
Preserving ecological balance and, above all, sustainable viticulture are the most important challenges of our time for Gérard Bertrand. The new Biobon range of organic wines from Gérard Berrard's new line shows that wines from organically grown grapes also have a convincing taste: wines with the familiar Gérard Berrand quality statement, which are certified as a special bonus (AB Ecocert organic label) and in environmentally compatible equipment (ProCork3 corks, labels made of recycled paper, packaging, etc.).
Gérard Bertrand wines are produced sustainably and biodynamically
In addition to his commitment to sustainable viticulture, Bertrand is also one of the most important producers in Languedoc-Roussillon, and is also committed to the young AOC Languedoc (appellation status since the end of 2007), which extends from Nîmes down to the eastern Pyrenees in the wine-growing regions of southern France. To anchor strong brands here, the brand club "Origine Languedoc" was founded, in which Gerard Bertrand and major producers such as Jeanjean, Foncalieu, Val d' Orbieu, Castel, the Vignerons Catalans and Skalli are supporting the new AOC.
