This pure Pinot Noir presents itself in a wonderful deep garnet red in the glass. The intense and aromatic bouquet of the Gevrey Chambertin 1er Crue Clos Saint-Jaques by Louis Jadot has a seductive scent of red and black forest berries, black currants, fine hints of vanilla and toast and slightly earthy notes.

The complex and powerful palate is based on elegant tannin, a rich and complex fruit and a beautiful fullness and structure. The extremely racy and long aftertaste is of complete finesse.

An ideal accompaniment to noble game dishes, roasts with fine sauces, traditional Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin or to strong cheeses full of character (except blue cheese).
