The Gewurztraminer Alsace AAC from the pen of F.E. Trimbach from Alsace presents a bright, copper-gold color in the swirled glass. Swiveling the wine glass, one can perceive a first-rate balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls as watery, syrupy or liqueur-like. This varietal French wine shows wonderfully expressive notes of oranges, raisins, prunes and limes in the glass. This is joined by hints of other fruits.
The F.E. Trimbach Gewurztraminer Alsace AAC presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine lover. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a premium and site wine segment. After the completion of fermentation, the Gewurztraminer Alsace AAC is aged for several months in oak barrels.
