Vinification of Giall'Oro Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore from Ruggeri
This elegant sparkling wine from Italy is made from the Glera grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone, clay and marl soils in Veneto. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully pressed. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the cuvée has been assembled, the wine is aged using the Charmat method. The Ruggeri Giall'Oro Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore then matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
Dining recommendation for the Giall'Oro Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore from Ruggeri
This sparkling wine from Italy is best enjoyed chilled at 5 - 7°C with cabbage roulades, leek soup or potato pan with salmon.
