The Gimblett Gravels Vineyards Le Sol from Craggy Range is vinified exclusively from Syrah grapes grown in Hawke's Bay. 

In the wine glass, this wine presents a dark purple color with purple highlights. The nose enjoys complex aromatics - ranging from boysenberry, to black pepper, to fresh herbs. On the palate, this red wine is very finesse with a powerful, lush body. The balanced acidity offers a perfect interplay with the subtle tannins. The finish is convincing with length and a dry taste. 

Vinification of the Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Vineyards Le Sol

The vines for this single varietal Syrah red wine grow in Hawke's Bay wine region. 

The grapes are carefully hand picked and selected. After gentle pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The dark color and spicy notes are provided by 18 months of wood aging in French oak barriques.
