Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum presents us with an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is of course also due to its residual sweetness. This dense sparkling wine is light-footed and complex on the palate. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, the Giustino B. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum has a velvety mouthfeel without lacking freshness. The finish of this well-matured Prosecco Spumante from the Veneto wine-growing region, more precisely from Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, finally delights with a remarkable aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the soils dominated by limestone and marl.
Vinification of the Ruggeri Giustino B. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum
The elegant Giustino B. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Glera grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone, clay and marl. The Giustino B. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. The ripeness of the grapes for this Glera wine is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Veneto, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation of the base wines. Once the Prosecco Spumante has been blended, it is aged using the Charmat method. The Ruggeri Giustino B. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore 1.5 l Magnum then matures in the bottle for a few months before being disgorged.
