Wonderful wine from the Golan Heights
Fertile soil - ideal climate
The Golan Heights Winery is located in the Golan Heights and has almost the same ideal conditions in terms of soil and climate as the Bordelais or Tuscany. Here in the Golan Heights, in this breathtaking region, everything began with the right conditions, such as volcanic basalt soil and cool mountain climate. This unique combination gives the Golan Heights the nickname "Wine Country".
The winery and its wine series
The Golan Heights Winery wines are mainly sold under the names of
- Yarden
- gamla
- Mount Hermon
- Golan
known.
These wine series have been developed since the foundation of the winery in 1983 and since then have promoted the reputation of Israeli wines throughout the world. Over 30% of the Gamla, Yarden and Mount Hermon wines produced are exported to 32 countries in North America, Europe, Africa and the Far East. The rest is consumed in Israel itself.
