Poured into a sparkling wine glass, this Old World sparkling wine presents wonderfully distinguished and complex aromas of lemon, brioche, green apple and peach, rounded off by broom.
On the palate, the texture of this balanced sparkling wine presents wonderfully light, crisp and creamy. The final of this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine-growing region, more precisely from Champagne, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Mallol Gantois Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Brut 1,5 l Magnum
The balanced Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Brut 1,5 l Magnum from France is a single-vineyard wine, made from the Chardonnay grape variety. In Champagne, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. The Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Brut 1.5 l Magnum is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Frenchman breathes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of Old World wines. The maturation of the grapes for this wine made from Chardonnay is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the assemblage of the cuvée follows further aging based on the Méthode Traditionelle. Subsequently, the Mallol Gantois Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Brut 1,5 l Magnum matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
