The elegant Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum from the house of Vesselle Georges runs with bright light red in the glass. The play of pearls of this champagne presents itself in the glass incredibly fine, elegant and long-lasting. After the first swirl, one can perceive a first-class balance in this sparkling wine, as it does not stand out on the walls of the glass in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. The first nose of the Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum flatters with notes of lemons, oranges and ripe apple. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by hazelnut.
On the palate, the texture of this balanced champagne is wonderfully light, crisp and creamy. Finally, on the finish, this wine from the Champagne wine-growing region delights with beautiful length. There are again hints of ripe apple and lemon. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the limestone and clay dominated soils join.
Vinification of the Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1,5 l Magnum from Vesselle Georges
The balanced Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1,5 l Magnum from France is a cuvée, vinified from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Champagne region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. Obviously, the Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1.5 l Magnum is also determined by the climate and viticultural style of Champagne. This Frenchman can be called an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, exceptionally distinguished and complex. The maturation of the grapes for this wine from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. Following the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the pressing house. Here they are selected and gently pressed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After the assemblage of the cuvée, further aging follows on the basis of the Méthode Champenoise. Subsequently, the Vesselle Georges Grand Cru Blanc De Blancs Extra Brut 1,5 l Magnum matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
