More information
In the glass, the Grande Reserva Tinto from Quinta do Paral has a dense purple-red color. This Portuguese cuvée reveals wonderfully expressive notes of blackberries and raspberries in the glass. There are also hints of smoke and black pepper.
This Portuguese wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Portuguese naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. This dense red wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. On the finish, this very storable red wine from the Alentejo wine-growing region impresses with its considerable length. Once again, there are hints of blackberry and raspberry.
Vinification of the Quinta do Paral Grande Reserva Tinto
The powerful Grande Reserva Tinto from Portugal is made from grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing for 26 months in barriques and new oak wood.
