More information
The Pinot Gris from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen presents itself in a brilliantly shimmering copper gold in the glass. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of apple, jasmine, mango and physalis, rounded off by whole-nut chocolate, brittle and walnut.
The Dr. Hinkel Kein Grauburgunder presents us with an incredibly fruit-driven taste on the tongue, which is of course also due to its residual sweet profile. Light-footed and multifaceted, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Pinot Gris flatters with a soft palate feeling, without lacking freshness. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with beautiful length. Hints of lime and honeysuckle appear again.
Vinification of the Pinot Gris from Dr. Hinkel
This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the grape variety Pinot Gris. After the grape harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
