More information
With the Kranz Grauer Burgunder comes a first-class white wine into the swirled glass. Here it reveals a wonderfully bright light yellow color. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from Germany offers wonderfully expressive aromas of mango, guava, gallia melon and papaya, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
This white wine from Kranz is something for wine drinkers who like their wine dry. The Grauer Burgunder already comes very close to this, as it was pressed with just 3.6 grams of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Pinot Gris presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of nectarine and jasmine appear.
Vinification of the Pinot Gris from Kranz
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Gris. Only impeccable grape material was used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Kranz. After harvesting, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up.
Food recommendation for Kranz Grauer Burgunder
This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as a companion to coconut-lime fish curry, spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, or asparagus salad with quinoa.
