Vinification of the Peter Mertes Maybach Pinot Gris & Rivaner
This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the grape variety Pinot Gris and Rivaner. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Maybach Pinot Gris is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months. After the wine is finished, the Maybach Grauer Burgunder is carefully harmonized.
