With the Château de d'Hospital Graves Blanc comes a first-class organic white wine in the swirled glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. The first nose of Graves Blanc reveals nuances of gooseberries and ripe apple. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as toasted wood and vanilla.
The Château de d'Hospital Graves Blanc presents itself wonderfully dry to the connoisseur. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this velvety white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Graves Blanc is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of gooseberry and ripe apple show.
Vinification of the Graves Blanc from Château de d'Hospital
The basis for the balanced Graves Blanc from France are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
