The Great Again Müller-Thurgau from the Pfalz wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany presents wonderfully expressive aromas of vineyard peach, mirabelle, quince and apricot, rounded off by lovage, Mediterranean herbs and garrigue.
On the palate, Emil Bauer's Great Again Müller-Thurgau opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this light-bodied white wine is characterized by an immensely velvety texture. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of mirabelle plum and nashi pear are evident. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone and clay dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Emil Bauer Great Again Müller-Thurgau
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Müller-Thurgau. Only impeccable grapes were brought in for this wonderfully elegant single varietal wine from Emil Bauer. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and loess. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Great Again Müller-Thurgau is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
