Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, jasmine, apricot and nectarine, rounded off by lovage, garrigue and green peppers.
The Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Kamptal Terrassen presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp and melting texture. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria, more precisely from Kamptal, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and sand.
Vinification of the Grüner Veltliner Kamptal Terrassen from Bründlmayer
The elegant Grüner Veltliner Kamptal Terrassen from Austria is a single-varietal wine made from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. In Lower Austria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand, loess and volcanic rock. The grapes for this white wine from Austria, at the time of optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
