The first nose of the Grüner Veltliner Nussberg shows notes of black cherries, morello cherries and apples. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a true quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities, and so this Austrian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety and crisp texture. The basis for the balanced Grüner Veltliner Nussberg from Vienna are grapes from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Vienna. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand and limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Grüner Veltliner Nussberg can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
