In the glass, the Grüner Veltliner of Salzl Seewinkelhof reveals a bright platinum yellow color. To the nose, this Salzl Seewinkelhof white wine reveals all sorts of apricots, nectarines, apples, mirabelles and vineyard peach. As if that wasn't already impressive, the stainless steel aging adds cocoa bean, gingerbread spice and green bell bell pepper.
This Austrian wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 2.9 grams of residual sugar. This is a true quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Austrian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light and crisp. The moderate fruit acidity flatters the Grüner Veltliner with a soft mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region the Burgenland, more precisely from Lake Neusiedl, finally thrilled with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and clay.
Vinification of the Grüner Veltliner from Salzl Seewinkelhof
The balanced Grüner Veltliner from Austria is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the grape variety Grüner Veltliner. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loam and loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Salzl Seewinkelhof Grüner Veltliner
