Vinification of Hemina Cuvee from Abbazia Di Pannonhalma
The basis for the balanced Hemina Cuvee from Hungary are grapes from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Pinot Blanc. In Pannonhalma, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
Recommendation for the Hemina Cuvee from Abbazia Di Pannonhalma
This white wine from Hungary is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to spinach gratin with almonds, potato pan with salmon or vegetable salad with beetroot.
