Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Herrenbuck Grauburgunder Tradition
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Gris. Only first-class grape material was used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Weingut Kiefer. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess and clay. After manual harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the pressing house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in large oak barrels.
