The Martin Schmidt Pinot Noir Rosé can rightly be described as exceptionally fruity and velvety, as it was vinified with a pleasantly sweet flavor profile. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Martin Schmidt Pinot Noir Rosé reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate.
Vinification of the Martin Schmidt Pinot Noir Rosé by Weingut Kiefer
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Noir. Only the best grapes were used for this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Weingut Kiefer. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of loam, loess and volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

This German wine is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as a companion to fruity endive salad, red onion stuffed with couscous and apricots or pumpkin casserole.
