More information
With the winery Herbert Zillinger Horizon Grüner Veltliner Bio-Dynamic comes a first-class organic white wine in the glass. There it presents a wonderfully bright, platinum yellow color. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from Austria offers wonderfully expressive aromas of peach and apricot, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
The Weingut Herbert Zillinger Horizont Grüner Veltliner Bio-Dynamisch enchants with its straightforward dry flavor. He was brought to the bottle with only 1 gram of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Austrian naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. With its vital fruit acidity, Horizont Grüner Veltliner Bio-Dynamisch reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region Weinviertel, which can be stored well, finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of peach and apricot appear. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and limestone still join.
.Vinification of the Horizon Grüner Veltliner Bio-Dynamic by Herbert Zillinger Winery
.This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Grüner Veltliner. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Weingut Herbert Zillinger, only the best grapes were brought in. In the Weinviertel, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand and limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
