More information
With the M. Chapoutier Invitare Condrieu comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it offers a wonderfully dense, golden yellow color. Swiveling the glass, this white wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is reflected in strong church windows at the edge of the glass. The nose of this white wine from the Rhône Valley seduces with nuances of nectarine, orange blossom, honeysuckle and lime. If we trace the aromatics further, oriental spices, vanilla and cinnamon are added.
The M. Chapoutier Invitare Condrieu delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful white wine is wonderfully melting. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally thrills with considerable length. There are again hints of papaya and orange blossom. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and granite are added.
Vinification of the Invitare Condrieu by M. Chapoutier
This powerful white wine from France is made from the Viognier grape variety. The grapes grow close to the river in the Rhône Valley. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and granite. Due to the moderating influence of the nearbyriver, the grapes ripen more slowly and develop more aromatic complexity. Of course, the Invitare Condrieu is also determined by climate and viticultural style Condrieu. This French can literally be described as an Old World wine, which presents itself extraordinarily impressive. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Invitare Condrieu are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, Invitare Condrieu is aged for several more months in oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Invitare Condrieu from M. Chapoutier
