More information
The Cesari Jèma Corvina Veronese is a first-class red wine in a glass. It presents a wonderfully dense ruby red color. Slightly slanted, a transition of the wine color towards garnet red is visible at the edges. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in the strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Cesari offers aromas of apples, Nashi pears, mulberries, plum must and blackcurrants, complemented by other fruity nuances. On the palate, the Jèma Corvina Veronese from Cesari starts off pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. This melting and velvety red wine is full-bodied and multi-layered on the palate. With its lively fruit acidity, the Jèma Corvina Veronese is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with its considerable length. There are again hints of forest fruit confit and Nashi pear. Mineral notes from the clay-dominated soil are added to the finish.
Vinification of the Jèma Corvina Veronese from Cesari
This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Corvina grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soils in Veneto. The Jèma Corvina Veronese is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Jèma Corvina Veronese are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete. Maturation in oak barrels is followed by extensive ageing in the bottle, which makes this red wine even more complex.
Recommended with Cesari Jèma Corvina Veronese
