This Austrian cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of mango, peach, acacia blossom and mineral nuances in the glass. This is joined by hints of gooseberries.

On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully dense. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Gumpoldskirchener Tradition presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Lower Austria finally inspires with beautiful length. There are hints of star fruit and guava. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and clay join in.

Vinification of the Gumpoldskirchener Tradition from Johanneshof Reinisch

The basis for the balanced Gumpoldskirchener Tradition from Lower Austria are grapes from the grape varieties Rotgipfler and Zierfandler. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Lower Austria. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand and limestone. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation of 4 months in oak barrels.
