Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling trocken - Trenz

In the glass, Trenz's Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling displays a brilliantly shimmering light yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Trenz reveals aromas of kumquats, pomelo, grapefruits, grapefruits and oranges, complemented by vanilla, gingerbread spice and cocoa bean. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 7.5 grams of residual sugar. Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheingau finally inspires with considerable length. Hints of lime and grapefruit are again apparent.

Vinification of the Trenz Johannisberg Old Vines Riesling

The basis for the elegant Johannisberg Alte Reben Riesling from the Rheingau are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes for this white wine from Germany are harvested exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures.
