Vinification of Käfer Merlot
This powerful Merlot from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Merlot grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Merlot can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
