The barrel-aged Kalmit Weißer Burgunder GG from the wine-growing region the Palatinate shows in the glass in dense light yellow. When swirling the glass, this white wine reveals a high viscosity, which shows in church windows at the edge of the glass. This single varietal German wine flatters in the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of pears, lime, honeysuckle and jasmine. These are joined by hints of walnut, juniper and sun-warmed rock.

Vinification of the Kranz Kalmit Weißer Burgunder GG
This powerful white wine from Germany is produced organically from the Riesling grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Kalmit Weißer Burgunder GG is aged for several months in oak barrels.
