In the glass, the Kiedrich Riesling from the pen of Robert Weil shows a brilliant shimmering light yellow color. If you give it some air in the wine glass by swirling, this white wine is characterized by a wonderful brilliance that makes it dance nimbly in the glass. The bouquet of this white wine from the Rheingau region delights with notes of apple, nashi pear, peach and pear. If we trace the aromatics further, Mediterranean herbs, forest floor and sun-warmed rock come into play.
This white from Robert Weil is ideal for all wine drinkers who like it dry. However, it is never sparse or brittle, but round and smooth. Light-footed and multilayered, this crisp and dense white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Kiedrich Riesling reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheingau, more precisely from Kiedrich, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Robert Weil Kiedricher Riesling
The elegant Kiedricher Riesling from Germany is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Riesling grape variety. What is unusual about the creation of this top wine from Robert Weil is the fact that the grapes are grown on stone terraces in Kiedrich (DE). This time-honored form of vineyard management is unfortunately very costly and time-consuming and therefore rarely found anymore. Of course, Kiedrich Riesling is also determined by the climate and viticultural style in Kiedrich. This German wine can literally be described as an Old World wine that presents itself as exceptionally complex. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures.
Food recommendation for the Kiedricher Riesling by Robert Weil
Drink this white wine from Germany ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to veal and onion casserole, arugula penne or baked sheep's cheese parcels.
