More information

The powerful L'Ermite rouge Ermitage from M. Chapoutier flows into the glass with a dense purple color. Poured into a Burgundy goblet, this Old World red wine presents delightfully distinguished aromas of plum, plum, black cherry and morello cherry, rounded out by firewood, beech smoke and oriental spices contributed by barrel aging.

This red from M. Chapoutier is a good choice for all wine lovers who like as little residual sugar as possible in their wine. At the same time, it never shows itself barren or brittle, as one might naturally expect from a wine. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by a tremendously powerful and velvety texture. With its present fruit acidity, the L'Ermite rouge Ermitage is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally thrilled with exceptional length. Once again, hints of plum and black cherry show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the granite-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the M. Chapoutier L'Ermite rouge Ermitage

This powerful red wine from France is made from the Syrah grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in the Rhône Valley. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of granite. The grapes for this red wine from France, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in concrete and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, L'Ermite rouge Ermitage is aged for another 20 months in oak barriques.

Food recommendation for the M. Chapoutier L'Ermite rouge Ermitage

Enjoy this red wine from France best tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as an accompanying wine to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, vegetable couscous with beef meatballs or boeuf bourguignon.
