On the palate, the L'Isola Bianco of Hibiscus opens pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of apricot and lemon appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the flint-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of L'Isola Bianco by Hibiscus
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Catarratto, Grillo and Inzolia. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of flint. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for L'Isola Bianco are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.

This Italian is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce, pumpkin casserole, or leek tortilla.
