More information about La Ciboise Rouge Lubéron AOC - M. Chapoutier

In the glass, La Ciboise rouge Lubéron from the pen of M. Chapoutier offers a dense purple color. The bouquet of this red wine from the Rhône Valley enchants with nuances of blackberry, wild berry jam, plum jam and black currant. If we trace the aromatics further, vanilla, cinnamon and gingerbread spice come in.

This red from M. Chapoutier is perfect for all wine connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, as one might naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully melting. Due to its present fruit acidity, La Ciboise rouge Lubéron is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley, more precisely from Luberon, finally captivates with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of La Ciboise rouge Lubéron from M. Chapoutier

The basis for the powerful La Ciboise rouge Lubéron from the Rhône Valley are grapes from the Grenache and Syrah varieties. The grapes for this red wine from France are harvested exclusively by hand at the time of optimal ripeness. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the La Ciboise rouge Lubéron from M. Chapoutier

Drink this red wine from France ideally tempered at 15 - 18°C as an accompanying wine to spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce, coconut-lime fish curry or vegetable salad with beetroot.

Awards for the La Ciboise rouge Lubéron from M. Chapoutier
