The Soto Manrique La Cruz Verde is pleasantly dry for the wine connoisseur. This red wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, La Cruz Verde flatters the palate with a velvety feel without lacking freshness. The finish of this red wine from the Castile - León wine-growing region, which is capable of maturing well, finally convinces with a beautiful aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the granite-dominated soils.

Vinification of La Cruz Verde from Soto Manrique

This powerful red wine from Spain is made from the Garnacha grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on granite soils in Castile - León. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in concrete and small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
