With the Peter Riegel Weinimport La Fête Rouge comes a first-class red wine into the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, ruby color. This French cuvée shows in the glass wonderfully distinguished notes of blueberries, black currants, blackberries and mulberries. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 6.5 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine beyond the 4-euro mark, this Frenchman naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully silky. Due to its present fruit acidity, La Fête Rouge is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this red wine from France finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of La Fête Rouge from Peter Riegel Weinimport
Basis for the balanced La Fête Rouge from France are grapes of different, selected grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Once the wine is finished, La Fête Rouge is carefully harmonized.
